Safeguarding Policies
Srijanalaya is committed to working towards conversations of what it looks like to create a world that is built on respect and dignity- both for humans and nonhumans (of all shapes, sizes, colors, and forms). In order for a person to challenge themselves, to develop empathy and compassion in their work, we all need to feel safer in terms of forms of harassment, exploitation, and abuse. Acknowledging that this journey is imperfect and a continuous process, we are learning to navigate what it means to work with increasingly diverse peoples, places, ages, contexts, histories, and art forms. Below are safeguarding policies that Srijanalaya is putting into effect.
At Srijanalaya, we ask that if you are experiencing or are witness to any form of harassment, exploitation, abuse, or discrimination that you report the incident to any member of Srijanalaya that you are comfortable sharing with (informal mechanisms) and/or send an email to srianalaya.documents@gmail.com (formal mechanism). We ensure confidentiality of all parties and assure you that we will begin to investigate the concerns.
