Project Description

Drawing Room, a collaborative partner of Srijanalaya, brought beautiful paper along with all the tools needed to create personalized greeting cards for the holiday seasons.

We set up a working table with beautiful paper, accessories, tools, and some examples of greeting cards including pop-ups.  There was a wonderful flow of teenagers, young children, and adults imagining their holiday messages for special people in their lives.  Sunita Maharjan and Sanjeev Maharjan, the founders of Drawing Room and founding members of Srijanlaya, both artists, assisted people by providing and modeling a diverse array of new ideas as they put together their creations.

Srijanalaya was exuberant to have been able to create a creative corner in the bustle of the Mall.
