Project Details
The book creation workshop is a 4 month long workshop, including 6 illustrators and graphic designers who illustrated the translated works of Newari poet, Durga Lal Shrestha. The workshop was facilitated by Srijanalaya's Sharareh Bajracharya and Amber Delahaye.
The workshop began with an orientation by Sharareh Bajracharya and Amber Delhahaye. The works of Durga Lal Shrestha were first translated by Sharareh Bajracharya, along with 4 other editors and translators. Each illustrator/graphic designer picked one poem for themselves and started working on illustrating a book out of it. The books are set to be published, with the help of The Asia Foundation. The workshop is still ongoing with artists putting their final work in.
The published versions of these books will be released shortly.
