Srijanalaya, in collaboration with Nritya Aagan and Drawing Room participated in The Innovation and Education Fair 2017.
The Innovation in Education Fair (IEF) is a forum for educational professionals to discuss how to make teaching and learning practices more engaging, meaningful, and memorable for students and teachers. Srijanalaya carried out a range of workshops and presentations for educators and students. The workshops revolved around new ways to teach students using the arts as a medium. The presentations highlighted the need for an arts inclusive education in Nepal.
The workshops carried out by Srijanalaya were "Using your senses", "Creative Movement for Children", and a presentation entitled "Local Arts Inspire." Additionally, each day of the Innovation in Education Fair ended with a performance from the Srijanalaya team, led by Subima Shrestha from Nritya Aagan.
