How to do art in the classroom (GRADES 1-6)

Srijanalaya believes in supporting teachers with practical integrative lesson plans that find innovative ways to teach the various units in Hamro Sero Phero for the early years, Mathematics, Nepali, and English. These lessons are tried and tested in Nepali classrooms with students from diverse abilities, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, castes, genders. Srijanalaya keeps updating these lessons. The Drawing and Collage lessons are translated into both Nepali and English. The Team is now shifting to uploading lessons on to Notion so that teachers can have access to the most updated versions of the lessons. You are welcome to keep revisiting this site as we update them with new artist-made, classroom-friendly lessons!

A team of visual artists and educators have developed these lessons from 2016 till now and have had many contributors over the years. The manual forms attached below for the Drawing and Collage medium were supported by Rotary Yala and Daya Foundation in 2076 BS or 2019 CE.
